British TV children’s show host [Geoffrey Hayes has died](https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2018/oct/01/rainbow-host-geoffrey-hayes-dies-aged-76), aged 76. He is most famous for the long-running show _Rainbow_, which was broadcast internationally, including in New Zealand during my own childhood. ---

I’ve also just read [on Twitter](https://twitter.com/Vinetario/status/1046727170100539393) that legendary comic book artist [Carlos Ezquerra](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlos_Ezquerra) has died. Most prolific within the pages of UK comic **2000AD** , he helped co-create _Judge Dredd_, was the main artist on _Strontium Dog_, and [countless other incredible works](https://www.google.com.au/search?safe=off&biw=1662&bih=1066&tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=_xOyW5ulFpDmwQOTt6eYDg&q=carlos+ezquerra+art) that helped establish and maintain the comic’s signature style. ---

I’m not a mod in this forum but the ruling as I remember was that this is basically a hybrid thread that could be placed in several forums so it might as well stay here. The game play part of it pretty much ends on January 1. ---

I just found out that Lydia Clarke Heston, actress, photographer, and widow of Charlton Heston, died on September 3rd of this year. On another board I got five points for her, but nobody has her this year on the Dope. ---
