Of note, the Honda store that had the same name as this guy has since changed its name to ‘Honda of Olathe’. Edit: Ninja’d! Leaving it for the additional factoid, though. ---

Fifteen years later and there were still enough of them alive to fill a new list. Plus alternates. Even after crossing off the ones who are now over a hundred. ---

Unlike most of the rest of the GOP, he realized fairly early in our Iraq misadventure that he’d gotten it wrong. Wrote thousands of letters of condolence to the families of our fallen soldiers. I’m sure I disagreed with him on a great deal, but he’s one of the last Republicans I actually had a measure of respect for. ---

When they retired the Berry Terminal, I always thought it would’ve been nice for the Berry family if airport administration added the Berry name to the road’s name. A nice hyphenated tribute to the two men. ---
