I took three classes from him (including once cramming five classes into a semester just so I could take his course), and even though my career is not related to history, I still often think about him and the lessons I learned from him. I don’t know what your definition of ‘bandwagon pick’ is, but 15 of us had Fatima Ali (7th most popular pick this year), including you. She’s still the difference between zero and tied for 10th for a half-dozen of us. 🙂 ---
