> Actress Linda Manz (Days of Heaven, The Wanderers) dead of lung cancer at 58.

I totally missed this. There’s a current commercial for a series that features a very fat woman singing. It reminded me of a very fat bald guy singing very sweetly in one of Linda Manz’s films. I couldn’t remember the name of the film (The Wanderers) so I looked up Linda Manz today. That’s when I saw she died a year and a half ago. ☹

FWIW(1): She died in Palmdale, CA. I think, though I haven’t looked it up, that she lived in Leona Valley for a while. I lived in Lancaster, CA before I moved to L.A.

FWIW(2): The fat bald guy was Erland Philip Peter Van Lidth De Jeude, who (I knew) died incredibly young.
