I’ve never read the threads, though I have no issue with them. I guess I usually just follow [http://www.deathbeeper.com/](http://www.deathbeeper.com/) to see who’s died. That, and I find most celebrities annoying, so I would never be very good at the competition. But maybe I’ll check this years thread just to stay in the know. ---

I don’t exactly use the thread to check deaths, but I notice when the thread pops up into the top of the Game Room, so I know to look around for news. ---

Yes, I have read the book. I put that I check the thread daily but really I only read it when there are new posts. Winning is more about being good at using Google for research than it is about knowing a lot of celebrity trivia, IMO. ---
