I was trying to do the math in my head while the dogs were pestering me. I can double-check my numbers. Are we subtracting from 100? That’s how I got 16 for Lazenby. ---

In view of this, a good idea indeed, thank you! So I’ll take instead [Yang Chen-Ning](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yang_Chen-Ning), also known as C. N. Yang or by the English name Frank Yang, Nobel laureate for his contribution to the field of physics 1957. Yang Chen-Ning - 22 I fear it will be a lot of work for every one of us to check who is still alive at the end of the year. ---

That is so cool, thank you! And I see that some have used similar search ideas, I know because the results are similar but I did not copy. 🤣 Well, it is my first time, so next year will be more refined and thought through. I still think that the Death Pool is more straight forward and natural, but I am willing to give this idea a try. Games are fun and you are on **watching**. No escape! I will follow you. 😉 ---

Question: If one survives the year, wouldn’t their age be plus one when based on age as of 12/31/2023? I listed my 13 below based on points received on January 1st, 2025: Eva Marie Saint – 20 Dick Van Dyke – 19 Mel Brooks – 18 Berry Gordy – 15 Bob Newhart – 15 Buzz Aldrin – 14 Warren Buffett – 14 Gene Hackman-- 14 Julie Andrews – 9 Robert Redford – 8 Dyan Cannon – 7 Warren Beatty – 7 Jane Fonda – 7 Total: 167 🙂 [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/celebrity-life-pool-willing-to-host-if-there-is-interest-and-help/993915.md?page=1) [Next page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/celebrity-life-pool-willing-to-host-if-there-is-interest-and-help/993915.md?page=3)
