Nathan Lane. I remember an episode of Frasier where he plays a guy who’s stolen Frasier’s wallet (and later scams him out of his car), we hear him on the phone first, and I remember knowing it would be him. I don’t think he was super famous back when the ep first aired, though…(I saw the episode well after it first aired). ---

Based on recent _Simpson’s episodes with celebrity guests: **Werner Herzog** and_ Lisa Kudrow\*\* (she was in an old syndicated ep). I don’t know how unique Herzog’s voice is to native German speakers, but to me it’s instantly recognizable. ---

Just last night, **supervenusfreak** played a video and told me to guess who the singer was (I couldn’t see it from where I was sitting). I listened for about 20 seconds and said “[Sophie Ellis-Bextor](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sophie_Ellis-Bextor)”. And I was right! Oh, and Jon Cryer does radio ads for Wachovia Bank (now Wells-Fargo), and I recognized his voice the first time I heard one. ---

The movie _Kiss the Girls_ was spoiled from the start because there’s a voiceover by the killer, and I immediately recognized his voice. [del]Un[/del]like some Robin Hoods, he can’t disguise his accent. ---

Sean Connery - even when he’s playing an American citizen (The Presidio) he’s presumably naturalized, since that wonderful brogue is always there (although I guess he can do posh English also, from his 007 days). ---
