I just found out that [James Karen](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0439170/), aka Mr. Pathmark, is still alive. He’s 94 and still working, apparently. If you’re wondering “who?” then click the link. You know him. ---

Speaking of celebrities who died young from drug problems, I can never remember whether _Star Trek: Voyager_’s [Jennifer Lien](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jennifer_Lien) is alive or dead. (I checked just now and she is indeed alive.) In my mind I’ve got her filed away with all the other young actresses like Dana Plato and Lisa Robin Kelly who succumbed to alcohol, drugs, mental health issues, or all three. ---
