# Celibacy or How Long Have YOU Gone Without?

Seven years, after my divorce. That’s how long it took me to get over my fear that I’d end up in another relationship like the marriage I’d escaped. Then I met my now ex-boyfriend.

We just broke up last night. I suspect it’ll be at least another 7 years before I meet someone else. I don’t love singleness or celibacy, but it’s not like I’m an easy person to match up with. Feh.

Hey this is just like me (except I’ve never been married.) I’m going on 4 years no sex. Last time was with a serious boyfriend and before him I’d been celibate for 6 years! I’m never getting married and not having kids so I guess it’s 4 years going on forever now. Im not interested in casual sex outside of a relationship. It was never all that fun for me with a partner anyway so that suits me just fine.
