# cell phone antenna

Is there anything practical you can attach to your cell phone to boost reception that is proven to work?

Many cell phones have a connection for an external antenna; there is often a little circular rubber plug on the back somewhere, behind which is a coaxial plg. I’m not aware of any personal devices for this though; usually the external antennae are part of a car kit.

Hmm don’t see such a hole on mine. Is it possible to buy new attenas just for a fone. They aren’t covered in the warranty, but the shops for cell phones I stop in don’t have a clue and I cann’t find a place on line.
