I have an LG Tribute, which is pretty basic. I tried to d/l a game once, and there wasn’t enough storage space. I suspect I need an iPhone.

Google tells me LG Tribute has an 8 GB version. That should be plenty for dozens, if not hundreds, of apps. I suspect you’ll want to check to see how many pictures and songs you have packed into that thing.

Skype is the Video call App for Android. I’ve used it many times. You can send attachments in Skype. Skype works on Window too.

iPhone uses FaceTime

The challenge is for an Android user to call a iPhone user. I’ve been told FaceTime won’t talk to Skype.

google hangouts or whatever they are calling it this week is the default video call app for Andriod. But Skype, WhatsApp and dozens of others will also work to allow you to do video calls between PCs Macs iphones and android phones.

There is also one with only 4 GB. Most of that amount space could be filled with pre-installed, undeletable bloatware.

My dumb questions, because I almost never use my phones – neither the mobile, nor the landline.

You know on TV people are always video chatting? How do you do that? And they’re always like, ‘Let me send you the picture,’ while they’re talking. How do they do that? Do you have an SD card? Your phone has a slot for up to a 32 GB card. You should be able to move some apps off your internal memory to the SD card to free up some space. This is what I do every time I d/l an app, see if I can move it to the SD card.

Also, I find that when I update an app, it will move back onto the internal memory, so I need to move it back to the SD card. This frees up space on my phone again.

Yeah. And I’m sure the actual OS takes up a decent chunk as well.
