So, I wanted to e-mail a link to the Cthulhu Chick Tract to one of my instructors from the community college (and future employer) and… it’s… gone!!! Jack Chick sicced his legal staff on the webmeister for [“copyright violations”](http://www.howardhallis.com/bis/cthulhuchick/) Jack Chick, you are _sooo_ not going to be eaten first… ---

Of course, the Cthulhu Chick Tract guy may not want to go through the legal hassles involved, but he really ought to look hard at a countersuit involving much moolah, since the intent of the Chick suit is so clearly to harass and censor rather than enforce a legal right, that it might be possible to extract a nice chunk of change from that Chick bastard’s wallet via a countersuit for damages, mental pain and anguish, that sort of thing. I’d certainly look into it. ---

Actually, it looks more like his hosts were the one threatened, and they asked him to take it down. So it looks like Chick knows that his lawsuit is full of shit, but decided to go after the hosts, thinking they’d be too scared to challenge it. Fucker. ---

If the author had created all original artwork it would most certainly be protected, but he lifted several images directly from a Chick Tract, which is a no-no. It was funny though. ---

I can only assume that Jack (I will _not_ use his initials for obvious reasons :)) thinks this is _not_ parody. IE. that it contains most of the impact of the original word. IE. it’s not necessary to read the original, just this. IE. Jack thinks we should all sell ourselves to Cthulhu. Not what I expected him to think, but then he is insane. And of course freedom of speach and religion mean we have to tolerate this Cthulhu-loving-nutjob Chick, indeed, we should probably spread his good word (well, the word is more ‘aaghh! no, please, eat me first, agh!’, than good, but same diff).
