I just noticed that the CDC’s article speaks of a face-eating “arrest.” The officer supposedly shot and killed the perpetrator, so no arrest would have been necessary… unless it was a zombie that didn’t die from the gunshot wounds. This slip-up is proof they have a zombie in their facility for study. ---

This is a minor hijack, since it’s about the CDC, but not zombies. I was in the airport yesterday and saw a CDC poster saying that “X Americans have Hepatitis C. And don’t know it.” The bulk of the billboard was a map of North America, with photos of people’s faces, of different size and format, scattered over it. The thing about the poster was that the map of North America had “K.” designating all the capes. As i looked closer, I noticed that “California” was spoelled with a “K” – _Kalifornia_. And some of the words in the Mexican part of the map had _umlauts_. That’s when I realized that they had used a _German_ map of North America in the graphic portion of their advertisement.For no good reason, as far as I can tell. I suspect that the designed wasn’t paying very closwe attention to the wording. _It’s a pretty map of North America_, he/she undoubtedly though. No need to check it carefully, I suppose. Reminds me of the time some NYC functionary sent out announcement for a party in New York a selected as a background a city skyline. which would have been fine, except the graphic program was evidently programmed in Boston, because the skyline included the Citgo sign that sits near Fenway Park in Boston. Not New York City. Maybe a zombie was responsible. Everyone knows that they’re careless with backgrounds. ---
