Corrected typo in thread title–Veb
Okay, then. I guess my voting stats would be around 55% Democrat, 40% Green, and 5% independent/no party. Basically, I vote Green in all minor elections where Greens are running, Democrats for higher offices and lower ones where Greens aren’t running, and the occasional non-party candidate when they’ve made a large enough impression on me (which has only happened twice, but I’ve only voted in maybe eight elections). I’m registered Democrat solely so I can vote in primaries and I tend to go with the most socially and economically leftist person there (last time, Kucinich). I haven’t yet voted for a Republican but I might consider voting for Arlen Specter when he runs again if he keeps fighting against the neo-cons. That’s a pretty big if though.
So nope, not a centrist.
I respectfully suggest the “not totally accurate perception.” Hey, I don’t comprimise on issues really important to me, either.
