# CEOs' resident addresses

I asked this question yesterday and now the thread is gone. I don’t know if it just faded or if it was removed because it is a taboo subject. I will sincerely ask it again with nothing nefarious behind it:
How would one go about finding out the resident addresses of the Fortune 500 companies?

As in, “what are Warren Buffett / Steve Jobs / Bill Gates / etc.'s home addresses?”
I honestly have a hard time picturing a reason **why** you would need them that isn’t nefarious, or at least creepy.

Or does he want the addresses for the corporate headquarters? The OP is not clear.

In his other post, he makes it clear he wants the CEOs’ home addresses, apparently for organizing protests at their houses.

You might be able to make a claim that a home address of someone is a “public record,” and thus available to anyone who has the information you seek. On the other hand, if your intent on knowing this information is so your can tread in a potential legal minefield for the SDMB, you can bet a mod is going to lock a thread.

IIRC from the OP’s original thread, he was wanting to picket to call for boycott’s on the companies products…so that they would listen to the _little people_.
What an absurd proposal. You would be better off picketing the corporate headquarters than the CEO’s residences. Also, I would expect that assembling in a private neighborhood would be frought with all sorts of HOA violations, etc.
