# Certified in another language?

I’m looking to see if any kind of examination exists that a person can take to show they understand and speak a different language and if they successfully pass it are awarded a certificate. I ask because I think if I can show that it would really benefit my resume. Thanks

There are many certified language proficiency tests.

There are a lot of them. [Here](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_language_proficiency_tests) are some to get you started. For example, you could take the [TISUS](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Test_in_Swedish_for_University_Studies). If you pass, you might be able to use that fact to get in to a Swedish university program.

Or you could send 2 copies of your resume, one in each language.
