I’ll be wearing a black and white french maid’s costume, complete with frilly tutu and a feather duster. I’ll have on fishnet stockings and be wearing 8 inch stilletto heels. I just got back from our Thursday night outing and I have to say that if I knew I’d be meeting such a great group of people I’d have attended a doper’s outing long ago. This was my first experience meeting dopers IRL, and I was nervous at first, but I really REALLY liked the people I met. My Only regret is that I didn’t get to talk to the people at the other end of the table - but hopefully I’ll get a chance to in the future. Thank you all! I look forward to meeting more dopers! All of you were great! ---

We had a wonderful time, and my sometimes crippling shyness went away almost immediately. People have no idea how amazing that is! Cervaise and herownself, thank you for getting me “out there.” I do have to say that I’ve never ever seen a restaurant bill that big ($320.00 + $64.00 tip for 12 people, appetizers and drinks only. The mind boggles!!) so, money-wise, I doubt we’ll be able to attend too many of these gatherings, but I’m glad I went to this one. You all are fantastic!
