Personally, I say let him have his thread. We have people here who have been raped and rape related threads come up regularly. Discussion of some of the deepest darkest corners of extreme BDSM, no problem. Not so many years ago the highly celebrated ā€œAsk the gay guyā€ thread would have met a similar reaction to many of the comments posted in this thread. Not many years ago the idea of a black president would have been seen as ludicrous. I am no fan of **Cesario** ā€™s predilections but at the same time, as someone who holds a very unpopular belief in this country, I think he should be allowed to speak his piece. If any forum could pull this off in a civil fashion I would hope that this board could. ---

Cesarioā€™s activities on this board stand out all on their own and need no entanglement with other issues on this board to justify actions to be taken or not. Tying in side issues and posters just makes this muddled and is unnecessary. The whole topic of the thread gets lost in the ever expanding side issues people keep bringing to the discussion and they should be focused on at another time. This is why we have board meltdowns as other shit keeps getting thrown in until everything posters have a beef with are in the pot and being discussed. Something might be accomplished if the original topic was discussed on itā€™s own merits. I know itā€™s hard not to expand into other side issues as they present themselves, especially when itā€™s a topic you are a bit sore over from the past.
