Patrick MacNee was playing Andrew Wyke, so they broadcast TV ads for the show during _The Avengers_. One of the first TV ads for a Broadway show that I can recall (predating even Ben Vereen’s ad for _Pippin_) ---

Judge Doom, as he’s describing his plan to route a freeway through Toontown: “You lack vision, but I see a place where people get on and off the freeway. On and off, off and on all day, all night. Fast call! I love that quote, too. And I still use the final few words (sarcastically) when I negotiate particularly ugly freeway interchanges located in crummy neighborhoods. New quote: -You want the red or the white? -Pour it in your ear. ---
