I’ve often wondered if there weren’t a few rewrites that the editors missed. The flop between robot and droid being one. The pronunciation of Leia changes a bit. For the longest time I thought it was just an affectation of Billy Dee Williams, but there is a moment when a Rebel General pronounces her name ‘LEE-ah’ also ([At :39 mark](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0174DS71ggM) ). ---
