Tige Andrews was nominated for an Emmy in the year that those other won, but he didn’t win. So it’s unlikely that he’d be there with the winners. ---

Willow2us replied and told me he got it ‘from some movie magazine’. Which one he can’t remember. It is definitely not a hoax but as big a mystery is why it does not appear in more places than fanpop, facebook and this thread. ---

How about Ian Richardson? I’m pretty sure it’s not him, but it’s damn close. Can’t link to pic from here but he was the main character in the UK version of ‘House of Cards’. His IMDB page shows that he was nominated for an Tony and was on ‘The Mike Douglas Show’ in '76…nothing on US TV prior. Must say I pulled him outta nowhere! Kinda excited actually!! ---

I’m guessing that this picture was originally found in an old Photoplay magazine. That’s why it’s yellowed. For all we know, the guy in the guest seat might not even have been on the air, but someone who sat down for a magazine photo after the awards. Maybe the publisher of the magazine, or the producer of the awards show, or someone like that.
