Great sleuthing Vashbul, and thanks, I would not have gotten invested in this if the subject wasn’t so interesting. I am somewhat relieved at seeing the name Traina. That means he wasn’t British, or Jewish, he was Italian, as was Belmondo’s father/ Seeing Traina at different angles in that article he for me resembles Belmondo. For me it was a distinctive latin look, possibly a sort of Romanesque nose, more promenient in Belmondo because it was broken when he was a boxer. Someone should contact Peter Mark Richman and give him the correct answer. That way he can give an informed answer the next time it comes up and not be such a grump. (And to let him know that we not only didn’t let it rest but actually managed to ferret out the answer. ;)) (Props to Richman though for at least taking the time and trouble to respond.
