FWIW, and I do allow that I may have been misunderstanding the questions, the gist of what I was trying to initially convey was this:
Directing the military is a core constitutional power of the president; therefore, if he had Biden shot on 5th Avenue via instructions to one of the armed forces, he’d be immune from prosecution for that crime. SCOTUS has decided that such a power establishes absolute immunity.
Not trying to restart that discussion, just clarifying since I seem to have played a supporting role in this confusion.
