# Changing My E-mail Address

I was going to use the “Report to Moderator” function, but it told me that this was only for problem posts, so…

I want to change the e-mail address in my profile. It does not allow me to do so, as the e-mail address to which I want to change is already listed in the SDMB database. This may be related to another alias I set up during the Winter of Our Missed Content.

Please don’t ban me as a sock puppet. I reported the duplicate account to the moderators some time back.

The other alias was **rs0522** , IIRC, and it was that alias that is/was using the e-mail address to which I want to change. But I am afraid to activate the old alias.

If you can ban or delete the **rs0522** alias, or change its e-mail to something invalid, I would appreciate it. Or contact me at the e-mail address for **Shodan** (or the one for **rs0522** - both are valid), and let me know how to resolve this.

Thanks in advance. The new format of paid subscriptions seems to be going much better than anyone feared, and we appreciate the hard work of the mods and administrators.
