Howdy from da cave! I’m chillin’ for a bit before startin’ on dindin. OYKW said he’d be here around four-thirty. But it really screams for some kind of “one off” to balance out all the paint. Tell him to check out some of the old Bill Tracy dark rides for ideas. They’re actually leggings (because they were cheaper than yoga pants) and they were ankle length, so I shortened them by 10". They won’t ride up and my ankles will stay cool! 😃 Other than that, not doing much. It’s a dreary, drizzly, lazy day. Supper will be random leftovers. ---

Dindin has been ingested. YUM! OYKW is all excitated cause he has leftovers for N.O.L. tomorrow. I wouldn’t take anything fishy to heat up at the break room at irk. The smell does not bother me but I know it bothers others and I’m nice dammit. 😃 ‘Tis all cloudy out. I’m hopin’ we get a little rain or tboomer this evenin’. OYKW is spendin’ the night, so yay! He’s goin’ through a little bit of paperirk right now and says he wants him a whirlpool bath in a little while. He likes the jets in the tub. ---

We’re done with dinner also - and the fridge is emptier of leftovers. No more beef BBQ, no tortellini, half as much sloppy joes left, radishes and cuke salad also ingested. Ice cream later. Still dreary outside. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up, caffienated, and brekkied even. ‘Tis 75 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 91 for the day. OYKW had to go do another monitorin’ (starts at six a.m.!) this mornin’ so I made us an early brekkie of bacon, aigs, grits, and toast. This means I will be starvin’ by ten this mornin’. Ok that’s all I got. I do have some more caffienatin’ to do. Then, alas and alack, at some point purtification for irk must commence. At least 'tis Firday. Happy Firday Y’all! ---

A cold front came thru last night, and my sweetie opened the windows when he came to bed. It’s a glorious 60° with low humidity!! This just doesn’t happen in Merrylande in July, so yay for weather oddities! And it’s only supposed to hit 81° - I may not have to close the house at all! After supper tonight, \*\*FCD \*\*is riding his bike up to my mom’s. He’s showing his bike at a gathering that’s about 20 miles from her place and rather than getting up and leaving here at 6AM, he’ll be able to get a good night’s sleep before heading up the road in the morning. Whether he comes home Sat night or Sun morning depends on how tiring the day is. Dunno what I’ll do while he’s gone - I was thinking of getting more peaches to put in the freezer. We shall see. Amazingly, Higgs didn’t fuss at all this morning. When I came out a bit before 6:30, she was sitting quietly and patiently in her crate. Yay for being well-rested! 😃 Happy Firday! ---

{{{{Rosie}}}} Sorry to hear about your friend and, yes, it does suck when contemporaries die when they shouldn’t. The cats are getting along much better today. Bethany went to the vet yesterday, and she’s got a cold, poor thing. She’s on antibiotics for the next week for the bacterial crud she’s apparently got, so she’ll be on the mend soon. Otherwise, she’s healthy and happy and the vet fell in love with her. Anyway, it’s going to be a hell of a day. Job interview at 9, followed by freelancing. Blurf.
