**Disgrace** - J. M. Coetzee There is a character named Oom Koos which translates to something like ‘Uncle John’ in Afrikaans. I read this book in college almost 20 years ago, but this apparently common name in South Africa sounds like a Star Wars character and it is something I think about still. If you ever met a real human named Boba Fett you’d never forget them. ---
