> [@Slithy\_Tove](#): > > A [list of P. G. Wodehouse characters](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_P._G._Wodehouse_characters). Psmith is just the ptip of the iceberg I just finished 15-some-odd hours of a [Wodehouse audiobook compendium](https://libro.fm/audiobooks/9781937091804-the-p-g-wodehouse-collection?srsltid=AU7gw4U_KOaXeEEIyPlLYQUhXzIpVrs-rawNpype9ykcK3C_WhkCyXkS) (mostly Wooster and Jeeves), and the names were so entertaining. But I did get confused when Gussie Fink-Nottle and Tuppy Glossop were embroiled in the same shenanigans with the same women in _Right Ho, Jeeves._ ---

I saw a comedian some years ago who had a bit about the weirdest name he ever saw. He claimed to have come across it as a kid perusing the phone book and had to prank call the unfortunate owner because he couldn’t believe it was a real name. I have no idea if it was real or made up for the bit, but it remains one of my favorite names ever: Eggly Bagelface. ---
