I’m surprised nobody’s mentioned Avatar yet- the series is being made into a live action movie.
Problem is in an entirely Asian dominated world with elements from Chinese, Korean, Indian and Inuit culture in which the main characters are all from one of those regions- The cast is mainly white, I think there’s one Indian guy, so there is currently much ado about that- well from people in love with the series like me.
