I assume silent films are probably not eligible, since they often did it without words. For instance, when Buster Keaton kisses his girlfriend in **The General** after he nearly throttles her. And, of course, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers used to say it with dance. “You had me at hello” is a more recent example. “You know you don’t have to act with me, Steve. You don’t have to say anything, and you don’t have to do anything. Not a thing. Oh, maybe just whistle. You know how to whistle, don’t you, Steve? You just put your lips together and… blow.” as well as “It’s even better when you help.” ---

In the context of the film, Willis’ wife had expressed discontent that he never expressed ANY emotion, even when he caught her cheating on him. She specificall says he should say something like “fuck you..etc” which he does after they reconcile at the end of the film. ---

I think the whole relationship is pretty effed up, and that the Prof. is a jerk of the first water, but… “Eliza? Where the devil are my slippers?” I do like Roger Ebert’s comment from [here](http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060101/REVIEWS08/601010301/1023), that he’s not sure whether Eliza stayed to hear anything else after that. 😉 ---
