# Characters who'll always — or never — get into a fight when they meet

This is going to yet again demonstrate my dorkiness, but I immediately thought:

Wesley Crusher and Xander Harris\*\*\*\*

would hate each other, and their meeting would rapidly devolve into a slapfest.

\*(especially from the early, pre-Anyanka years)

Unless this happened multiple times, I believe you are thinking of Detective Comics, to celebrate some big milestone (big round number anniversary or issue #) of that title, with a plot celebrating when there were more detectives than just Batman in D.C.. Late '80s or early '90s.

Moriarty descendant was the villain.

Holmes had been/still is living in a monastery in Tibet, lifespan extended by a distillation of royal bee jelly.
