One 12 oz beer, on an empty stomach puts my wife past tipsy to the tilting over stage. With food, it’s better, but she in no way capable of acting normally (thankfully she’s a happy drunk but…) , so please don’t assume everyone reacts to drugs by the rule of averages.
The discussion so far seems to be discussing comparative responsibility. If both parties are just shy of falling-down-drunk, both are showing impaired judgement, and there’s the possibility both are culpable. @Stranger_On_A_Train has been focused on individuals who are NOT drunk (or barely so) taking advantage of a drunk party, knowing said party is impaired. In most cases I’ve seen of this sort of action during my college years lo those many years ago, it was almost always the guys who were less drunk, both by virtue of body mass giving an advantage (in general, individuals are different) and intent. Sadly MANY were actively trying to get their targets more drunk so they’d be an easier pick up.
