Since I moved, I need some address labels. At my old house, I used to occasionally get some in the mail (although I didn’t donate to any of the organizations that sent them.) So now, I thought I could order some address labels, but it seems preferable to spend a little more and have the money go to a good cause. I know I’ve gotten some self-stick ones before, but can’t remember where. So, does anyone have a recommendations for organizations that send out nice address labels with a donation? ---

I get mine from our local humane society. You might try looking into those. ---

I have a pile here from UNICEF, the Nature Conservancy, and Amnesty International. I’ve never actually donated to any of them. UNICEF has given me at least three sets a year. If you use a lot of labels, choose them. ---

As **SomeUserName** says, the Humane Society gives out more than you’ll ever need. Plus I’ve gotten note cards, note pads, christmas cards, bags, t-shirts, umbrellas… And, they’re a very good cause 🙂 ---

I like Nature Conservancy. Plus they give you a nice calendar each year. Hmm, I guess I’m pretty well due to actually give them some money, eh? ---

Join Ducks Unlimited for 6 or 7 years and then stop, you will receive DU mailing labels every 2 months as a “free gift” trying to lure you back. I wouldn’t mind rejoining DU, but I can’t give up those free mailing labels! ---

SPCA, Human Society, Nature Conservancy, or any of the wildlife foundations, really…I give _one donation_ to WWF, and I start receiving mailing labels like nobody’s business from a hundred other charities! I can’t donate to them all, so I use their labels without donation, and without guilt, and donate where I can/want to. _eta_ Oh, and calendars! I got three free wildlife calendars for '08 already! ---

I’m a horrible person. I have more than enough address labels to last two lifetimes. All were given to me by charities hoping to solicit a donation. Ummmm…the only one I donate to is the Humane Society. ---

The fad in 2007 has been a multi-packet. On top is a donation form and two sheets of labels. On the back is gift label stickers. In the middle is a note pad. Boy, do I have a lot of note pads! I go through my junk mail to sort for recycling. Window envelopes, labels, and stickers won’t recycle. A few financial applications have to be shredded, and the rest goes into the recycle bin. ---

The problem I have with address labels these days is that we use maybe 25 a year, almost all of them on Christmas cards. We just don’t mail things much, what with on-line bill paying and email communications. So our current supply of address labels will last years beyond the time we are going to spend in our current abode. I guess I’ll just send $10 to the Humane Society after we move, and that will do us for the next decade or three.
