Ok, my other thread was hijacked all to hell about a Charleston DopeFest. šŸ˜ƒ I figured that I would start this thread (with a more clear thread title) so we could all come here and figure out what we want to do. I know that **VDarlin** is going to be here this weekend, and **Wartime Consigliori** should be here sometime next week. So, whaddaya say? Beers at ACā€™s? Dinner somewhere? Iā€™m pretty much flexible, as I generally have no plans after 5:00. Who else do we have in Charleston, or nearby? ---

Iā€™m in! Email address is in my profile. I am currently tucked away, like Milton in Office Space, in a quiet little area where I can spend all day checking the SDMB. Sadly, I am being moved to an area with lots more room, but my monitor will be _gasp_ in clear site of manny peoples! Ack! So as of Monday, I may be a little slow catching up around here, but I can still check email. ---

Hee hee! This could be a DopeFest of Corruption. Obviously, **Slainte** has not been here as long as us, **sidle** , so we may have to mind our pā€™s and qā€™s. What the hell am I saying? I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever minded a p or a q. šŸ˜ƒ What, only 3 Dopers in the area? (Maybe a fourth, if **VDarlin** can showā€¦) Hell, itā€™s better than when I was the only one. How about this Saturday night? We can just meet up and have a couple of beers, and figure out what weā€™re going to do if anyone else shows up in the next week or so. I suggest ACā€™s, if only because I love it, and itā€™s cheap. (See yesterdayā€™s Charleston thread about weird goings-on.) I will try to email you both before I leave at 4:30. ---

Damn, damn, damn!!! Iā€™m in Cola, and Chas is part of my territoryā€“but Iā€™m going to be working Florida & Georgia this week (though Mrs. Stof is happy as Iā€™m taking her along to Savannah). Perhaps we can plan another minidopefest around the week of July 8 or July 15? I can plan either week based on whatā€™s best for those of you dodging the silver balls. ---

Mkay. My best friend just called and said she wanted to be at ACā€™s by 10 tonight. So, if anyone else would like to go, itā€™s on King Street. I canā€™t remember the exact address, but itā€™s on the corner of Radcliffe and King, across from the corner of Ann and King. There is a big moon (like the kind in the sky, you dirty-minded pervs! :D) in the window. We will be at the bar, probably, because 10 on a Saturday night usually isnā€™t busy. I will probably be wearing a black t-shirt that says ā€œRogue Dead Guy Aleā€ on the back. It has a skeleton sitting on top of a barrel on the back, I believe. I have reddish-brown hair, in a ponytail, and I will be with a short, dark-skinned girl with dark auburn hair. If, for some reason you canā€™t find me, ask anybody with an ACā€™s shirt on. I am planning on being there. Any tips on the closest parking lots/garages/meter spots? I am not familar with ACā€™s but am sure I can find my way there. ---

You can park anywhere thereā€™s a meter at no charge. Watch out for yellow curbs, though. They tow like a mutha on Saturday nights. If you canā€™t find a space, there is a garage on Ann Street. Turn on Ann, go past the Music Farm (on your left) and the garage is right past that on the left. Iā€™m not sure where the entrance is. You may have to go to Meeting, take a left, then take another immediate left to get back to the garage. Your best bet is to find a metered space. You can park on Radcliffe, but donā€™t park in front of the funeral home. Do NOT park in the gravel parking lot on the corner of Radcliffe and King. Itā€™s a tow-zone 24/7. Good luck with parking! Ok, Ok, Iā€™m hereā€¦sorry for the delay. I got in friday evening, and today has been the first time Iā€™ve had a chance to get online, and the SDMB is even slower since Iā€™m on a dial-up(I miss my cable modemā€¦wahhhh). So far as I know, we donā€™t have any plans on Saturday, with the exception of meeting up with another online friend down in the area of the Market at some point, but Iā€™m sure we could fit both in. Iā€™m guessing that Grandma would be willing to watch the little one that night, so we could go out. Anyway, I posted my e-mail in the ā€œstrange goings onā€ thread, and itā€™s also in my profile, but someone, anyoneā€¦(Skerri?), e-mail me, and let me know the low down, because itā€™s a lot easier, and faster for me to access mail, than the board, right now.
