I didn’t know he was still alive. When I was a kid I heard someone on TV say [paraphrasing] ‘Charlie Callas is the only man who can lick his own eyebrows.’ ---

I remember watching him on _Switch_ with Eddie Albert, Robert Wagner, and Sharon Gless. I always liked that show. ---

Did anyone see the Tonight Show episode when Charlie Callas playfully shoved Johnny Carson (I guess he was going for a laugh?) and Carson told him, on air, that he would never again appear on the show? Seems pretty harsh, especially considering that Callas had been a semi-regular guest on Tonight Show for years… That must have been an uncomfortable situation for all involved. ---

A genuinely funny guy (and rather hot as well). Too bad his career took a downturn.
