I haven’t seen anything except for an Occupy Democrats video, where Republican Congressman Thomas Massie played a clip – with Trump present – of Charlie Kirk calling for the release of the full Epstein files. ---

I turned on the TV when the parking lot opened and left it on so I could watch from time to time during the day. The organization and execution were excellent for such a large crowd. The speeches started on time and even Trump fit his slot. I judge from the cabinet presentations that current Trump Conservatism is built around Kirk/Jesus philosophy more than the Constitution. The government promoted life style is a high school education, a job, marriage and as many children as possible. I’m not sure why, but I get the feeling that their Jesus is a warrior God who rules from Valhalla with Charlie by his side. Oh yeah, the cause and cure of male autism will be revealed today according to Trump. ---

Question on his death and I didn’t want to start yet another thread. When Charlie Kirk was shot, his forearms came up parallel to the ground and froze there The same thing happened to JFK and I heard it is a reaction to spinal damage called the Thorburn position. Did Kirk do the same thing? ---

I can readily see why he was such a divisive figure, so beloved by the right for being their articulate champion, and so hated by the left for being such an articulate liar and effective demagogue. I think he was an intelligent person who fully drank the Kool-Aid, and was further motivated by the confluence of his far-right ideology with his Christian fundamentalism. ---

His “debates” were highly edited to make sure you saw what he wanted you to see. Any real debating from knowledgeable people wasn’t allowed. His in-person audience was a nasty and intimidating bunch, to say the least.
