[CNN](http://www.cnn.com/) reporting Warner Brothers has officially fired Sheen and that CBS is saying it’s made no decision on the future of the show.
It sucks to be Jon Cryer.

Meh, even if the show is completely over, it had a long run and will live on for years to come in syndication. Plenty of actors have had it a lot worse than Jon Cryer.

Yeah I HATE it when millionaires lose their jobs. 😃
It seem to be all over the press now, so it’s probbly true.
Of course Sheen has a contract and says he was ready to work, so what’ll happen is he’ll sue and come to an out of court settlement where he gets paid a few million more anyway.

And he’s fundamentally right, y’know. They’ll basically have to pay him out the remainder of his contract. Oh, they’ll spend years in court claiming he violated some nebulous clause, like he didn’t show up for photo shoot back in 2007. But in the end Charlie (and his lawyers) will get the money.

Eight years on a show, in every episode, that’s been syndicated all over the planet. Cry me a river. Yes, he’s probally typcast and will never get as high profile role again. Unless he was a total moron he’ll be able to live alot better than I do off his savings and residuals. As for Angus T. Jones, he’s still very young, wealthy, and had a very good anti-role model in Sheen. I could easily see him making the transition to adult roles and becoming the next Seann William Scott or leaving Hollywood and do something else. Holland Tayler and Conchata Ferrell have both had long succesful careers.

Amidst all of this hilarity, I find myself being kinda sad for his five children, surrounded by piles of cocaine, porn stars, media attention, violence and bizarre behavior by both (all?) of their parental role models.
