I only really noticed him recently. He’s been waaaaayyyy over-egging it. ([This](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=750079)thread? Come on.) I was kind of baffled that people seemed to take him at face value. ---

His original handle was Laslo Hapsburg, IIRC. He started out as just your average dumbass, but in the past few months he’s really gone overboard. So I think he probably IS some old guy who’s not all that bright to begin with, but lately he’s decided, for whatever reason, to play it up a little. ---

Yeah I never noticed him until he changed his name. Then he sent me a random pm about a movie, around the same time. Then he just blew up with weird, quickly followed by mean. I never noticed the board’s other skeevy old dude, aceplace57, until recently, either. ---
