Recent [thread by **HoneyBadgerDC**](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?p=19157837#) about getting angry when people don’t listen to him, even when he has knowledge of the subject being discussed. **Charlie Wayne** chimes in initially wondering if **HoneyBadgerDC** ’s problem might be that the conversation was over the telephone and if different genders may have resulted in the problem. Then **HoneyBadgerDC** responds that no it’s normally male only conversations that this problem occurs, but describes a situation where his wife had previously taken someone else’s side. I don’t blame you one bit for being pissed off. I would be pissed off too. I can’t understand why a spouse would side against you like that. It sure would have ruined my vacation as well. I surely would not have felt at all friendly to her for the rest of that trip. Several people further in the thread attempt to call him on it, but Charlie has left the thread.
