I’ve seen the OBX stickers though. What is LKN, Lincoln? Lakin’? Loser Kid Nibbler? Large Kevlar Nugget? If we can’t keep people from living two inches from the lakes, at least take away their right to bitch and moan when the lake dries up in a drought. And strengthen those water restrictions! Just because the rain came back does not mean the water table is back at its original level nor does it mean that it can handle the amount of use it’s getting. Stupid water. Why must it be so universally useful? ---

I _love_ the Airport in Charlotte. It’s been a while since I passed through but they have _rocking chairs_ in between terminals (food court area, iirc). There’s nothing better than getting off of a crowded flight and going to sit in a rocking chair while someone plays the baby grand piano(!) 🙂 The airport is nicely laid out and has some very good restaurants. I’d take it over the hellish ATL airport any day of the week. I haven’t seen too much of the city itself, only driven through once but from what I know of it, it’s on my list of “places I might move to”. It’s either Charlotte, NC or Savannah, GA. ---
