If her first television appearance was in 1967, then she might be 52. Depends if anyone remembers whether she might have been 15 or 25.

FWIW, my MIL came over from Scotland in 1948, aged 18 and still has her accent. OTOH, her younger brother has completely lost his.

My Dad came here from Sicilia in the 1960’s as a young man, and never even came close to losing his accent.
Heh, heh, heh. Look for a bad telemovie on video, called Misfits Of Science. Courtney Cox was just getting her start at the time, and her Alabama accent comes and goes throughout the movie; it’s especially pronounced at the climactic ending; only Southerners pronounce the word “can’t” as “cain’t.” 
Try harder next time.
No way in hell is Charo. At the time that she divorced Cugat, she petitioned to have her age legally changed, as Little Nemo says. She claimed that her original birth certificate had a typo. But if she is 52-years-old today, she was fourteen when she and Cugat married in 1966!
I have heard her claim (on Hollywood Squares, no less!) that she is fluent in a handful of languages (I don’t remember the exact number, but I’m thinking in the 4-6 range). If her accent makes her English difficult to understand, imagine what it does to her Greek.
Misfits of Science was also a tv series. Yes, I watched it. And I kinda liked it.
I remember Courtney Cox in it, but not the accent. But I’m sure that’s my memory failing.
