Tonight I saw Brad Sherwood and Colin Mochrie (from Whose Line) perform an improv show at the local comedy festival (Just for Laughs festival.) I think it was the funniest show I’ve ever been to!! 😃 ---

Happy Sunday, Mumpers! I was up early this morning to go and feed my friend’s cats after I managed to track them down. One is a house cat, one was indoors somewhere and the other one was outside. Once I got them all in, feeding commenced. Then the one who was outside ran upstairs so she’s staying in until friend gets home, the indoor one demanded to go out but hadn’t had much food so I put a spare dish in the conservatory for him in case he’s hungry later. We had a ton of rain overnight which was good for the garden and it cooled the temperatures down a bit, but I have grass as high as an elephant’s eye so I must go out and attempt to strim some of it, at least the part nearest the back of the house. The section at the far end is nettles, grass, willow herb _spit_ and brambles _spit spit_ and is too dense for me to tackle at the moment, I kid myself I’m leaving it for the benefit of the bees. Just need to get my wellies on now… ---

I’m hoping he just takes it easy - his back has been bothering him but he refuses to assume some major chillage. Why are smart people so dumb about some things?? Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 72 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 89 and “ocassional rain and thunderstorms.” Yestiddy we had rain around seven p.m. and apparently again durin’ the night. Plans today are to deheathenate and go to my friend’s wake/visitation this evenin’. Wild day, no? Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy needs sustenance. Then purtification for deheathenization shall commence. Happy Sunday Y’all! ---

I’m at the stage of “oh that was about five pounds too heavy” or “Ooh, I reached about two inches too far there” followed by “is it bad enough to take some Percocet or should I just sit down and not move for the next hour?” ---

Night Audit Lady doesn’t just have a COPD flareup. She also has, and this is a direct quote from her sister, “a touch of congestive heart failure.” 😕 I was not aware that was something you could have a touch of. The dayball is glowing. I may venture out later. I just need to relax after the week from hell that was. ---

I finished the afghan - YAY!! Both have been run thru a rinse cycle and they’re in the dryer. Shortly, they will be done and I’ll be heading to my mother’s. Meanwhile, I’m having a PB&J on oatmeal bread to hold me till the massive feed this afternoon. Behave yourselves while I’m out of the county. I don’t want to come back to angry looks from the neighbors and crime scene tape hanging from the trees!! 😛 ---

Home from deheathenization. I don’t think I mentioned it earlier but we deheathenated with the Luteruns this mornin’ just because. Anywho back at da cave and chikin boobs are bakin’ away in the oven for N.O.L. Steamed green beans with little N.O.T., fresh corn on the cob and rolls shall accompany them for what shall be a nummy N.O.L. GO ME! **MOOOOOOM** not to worry. We learned our lesson last time. From now on the crime scene tape will only be strewn around the shrubbery. ---

Happy Sunday. It’s a cloudy 76 degrees. I’m home from feeding the cats, a different set this time. My client left me some chocolate salt water taffy but since it hurts to chew I won’t be eating it anytime soon. I need to go to the doctor but I hate going to the doctor. I haven’t heard back if my offer was accepted but I expect it will be. The house has been on the market for over a year and I offered them $5000 more than the asking price in exchange for them paying $4500 in closing costs, which is essentially giving them their asking price. Since they had just lowered the price $5000 a week before I made the offer I feel like I am coming out ahead.
