# Cheap / Old Phone with a Good Camera and Battery Life

I am looking for a camera that happens to be a phone. I have the moto g4 which has a terrible camera (the megapixel # doesn’t tell the real story).

Honor 7X. If you want an amazing camera you’re going to have to spend more money, but if you want a phone in the price range of a Moto G4 this is the one to get.

There are now obsolete smartphones you can find on ebay that have amazing cameras, I would not recommend them as their batteries will be shot, they won’t run the latest android and thus newer apps won’t work, and they probably don’t have enough RAM to even smoothly use Chrome.

Ok, I did another search.

Let’s look for the best camera on a phone in 2016. Realistically a 2 years out of date phone will probably work another 2-3 years before it sucks too much to bother.

The linked article has the Samsung Galaxy S7 as the top of the list. I see new ones offered on ebay for $260. Honestly it’s specs look awesome and just as good as anything in the budget Moto series for 2018.

Did your camera lens glass get scratched(selfies look clear, other pics look “hazy”)? $5 part, easy to replace. Did wonders for mine.
