# Cheapest A+ Cert. Vouchers

Hi,  
I’ve done my fair share of working with and studying A+ cert course material, now I’m just about ready to take the exams 220-801 and 220-802. I’ve been trying to find the lowest prices on exam vouchers since there are 2 of these to purchase and I’m actually looking to shift my job upon certification. I’ve seen all kinds of “tricks” as in some course books come with a free voucher or many suggestions to take a college class and buy them through the college and still there are varying rates of prices on the web if you Google long enough…

Call me cheap but I just don’t have alot of cash on hand these days. I could really use a break as I’ve already paid for college books (in the past) $900 for the course and then another $40 for the revised edition now. It’s only the first cert I’m going after as well.

All ideas welcome thanks.

I recently got my A+ for free. I found out that my school’s testing center had a bunch of CompTIA vouchers that were going to expire (paid for by students that have dropped and whatnot). I called them up and I took the exam 3 days later! Perhaps you can contact the testing center at your school and see.

Hmm, I just contacted my school the other day, seems they don’t even host the test on campus anywhere, so so much for that idea. Still for a such a prevalent IT based exam, I would have figured there’d be more than just one response for something like A+… does everyone else just suck it up and pay whatever COMPTIA asks for the 2 vouchers?
