Hence, EX-husband…
i had three sets so i could pick the story on network news that i wanted to pay attention to. audio of one set into the left channel of a stereo headphone, another set into the right channel of a stereo headphone and the last set on its speaker; by watching a particular set you could concentrate on that audio.
Say what you will but I had that same TV thru High School and college; 20 years later it still worked. I haven’t a tv that’s lasted more than 5 years since then.
Quoted for TRUTH!
I was using a hacked xbox with VLC to watch .avi files on a TV older than I was, the power knob was broken off so to turn it on or off you had to unplug it but the picture was great and it worked fine. And it was from the seventies and I was using it in the 00s.
My current set is from the early '80s - a 13" Samsung with a digital signal converter box. The picture is bright and crisp and the audio (mono speaker!) is clear.
