Here from Victoria, where the old folks still pretend it’s England–have a nice cup of tea. It will surely make you feel a bit better. I’ll put the kettle on. And there are two slices of lemon loaf to have with it. Everything seems just a little less bleak after a good cup of tea. ---

Not sure what I can say from Edmonton…hmmm…okay…we are currently getting the worst mosquito infestation that they have seen in over 10 years. It’s just like being back in the Peg, except they don’t fog! I’d offer a hug, but I may be too weak from blood loss to raise my arms. I can offer some special first aid courtesy of my old Warrant Officer: “Have you had a bowel movement? Go to MIR and get some Robitussin and some Cepacol and shut up!” We never found it useful either. ---

My location, in my vernacular. Hmm. South Florida. I used to work for a major Canadian company, and hang out with (unrelated) Canadians socially. They consider me an honorary Canadian.
