And yes the Mullahs are liars and cheats and no they did not learn from the British. ---

If so, there is something called “Post-hoc” that comes to mind while reading your comments. In case you are not familiar with it, Post-Hoc is when a person is involved in a debate, and when failing to come up with a logical approach to defeat his rival, the person will start to attack his rival personally instead of the issue at hand. I wish to apologize to all Dopers and to Starguard and 2Thick specifically. For personal reasons concerning the current war in Iraq, I resorted to the childish and inapropriate tactic of name calling. I am sorry you all had to witness my little tantrum. I still strongly disagree with Starguard and have questions as to his motives and as to his veracity. But I am sorry for disrupting this discussion with my tantrum.
