Now now, you’re all being mean to the dickster. Actually, I’d much rather read his book than, say, one by Ann Coulter or Glenn Beck. The ex-veep might actually have something to say…nasty and vile no doubt, but interesting. There’s something kind of…refreshing about someone so openly and unabashedly execrable, like a grade “B” movie villain. Most of the other leading lights of the far right are too chickenshit to be truely evil, but the former congressman from Wyoming is the real deal. A (sorta) human Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz. Oh thank Christ. What a relief! I’ve been noticing all week that he seems to be doing the talk circuit; seems like every time I turn on the TV I have to flip away from that melting visage. I was terrified that he was about to throw his hat in the ring. ---

Cheney could potentially be the first person to get a heart implant. Technically, in order to have a transplant, you have to have been born with a heart in the first place. ---
