Hee Hee. Bumping it to the top, and registering that I’m cool with the 19-20th of May. It’d be great to find a date we could all do it, but pushing it back just opens up the possibility that people will have more important plans come up they haven’t been informaed about. Really who plans 3 months in advance. ---

OK, everyone, I’m back home. Thanks for fighting it out over the dates while I was gone. Later today I’ll send out another mass email about the hotels and possible places to meet. * * * Everybody knows that Steve McGarrett only takes orders from the governor and God - and occassionally even they have trouble. ---

Is this the second or third time that David has killed this thread. As I said in the e-mail I’m good to go whenever anyone else is. Some people have lives, but I’m not one of them. With the sum of intelligence we have on this board, I’m surprised noone has come up with a more reasonable approach to choosing a date on which to have these events. It being too late for this one since we’ve already decided on the 20th I’d still like to propose an orderly system with which to pick a date for the next event. Here goes . . . a weighted average. Is that so difficult. Whoever wants to organize the thing will receive a list of dates from all of the potential attendees with a number from 1 to 4 (or the number of possibilites). Since I can attend whenever I would just send a letter confirming that. For arguements sake however, lets say I couldn’t go on the weekend of the 12th and that the weekend of the 19th was inconvenient, but possible. I would send an e-mail something like: 1. 5th 26th 2. 3. 19th 4. ---
