Heady and flushed with the excitement of last weekend’s ChiDope, I figgered it’d be a good idea to get us all together again soon – heck, y’all are fun to hang out with! Whaddya all think about getting together again on a Friday or Saturday evening in the next couple of weekends? I’m flexible on location – you guys are the city dwellers, so I’m relying on you for suggestions. As for when, I’m available the weekends of May 23rd or June 7th. Thoughts? Suggestions? Is this thing on? ---

I would love to get a group together to see The Book of Liz, a play David & Amy Sedaris wrote, at the Chopin Theatre. The weekend of May 23 works better for me for whatever people want to do; the next weekend I’m in Tulsa for another @##%^%^%#! wedding. ---

**UncleBeer** and I are already booked for the 23rd, but the Saturday the 7th looks good. I’m not sure if he’ll be in town that weekend, so it may be both of us or just me. I’m in the burbs and don’t much care where, but how about getting together at the Black Rock? ---

I like the ‘Book of Liz’ idea. It’s been awhile since I’ve done something that cultured and refined. (Yes, yes, I’m sure it’s completely obvious.) Why don’t we do the play the weekend of the 23rd-24th (I’ll echo, **porc** – are you guys booked that whole weekend)? BTW, the Nazi IT guys at work have now restricted our web access \, so I’m only able to read/post in the evenings. ---

I’m in, IF I can ever figure out when I’m moving (it could be either of those weekends at this point), for which my landlord, Musa the Psycho Montenegrin has to actually return my calls, for which it would probably help if I weren’t online tying up the phone. If it doesn’t work out for me this time, I volunteer to host one at my new place after I move - we can barbecue! And then we can walk a few blocks to the Neo-Futurarium to see _Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind!_ Howzzat? ---

I’m all for the “pick something and see who shows up” thing, because they way my life is right now, planning in advance is foolhardy. 😛 However, if anyone is interested, you can hook up with my lil un-official film club [here.](http://www.autumneve.com/filmclub.htm) We do stuff about once every one or two weeks. Although for the record it will probably be Saturday nights only for a while, since tri training is way bloody early Saturday mornings so I need to sleep on Fridays. **Gundy** , we’re not really booked Friday the 23rd, but **UB** does the 4 1/2 hour drive to my place from Toledo on Friday after work and doesn’t generally get in until almost 9, so Fridays are generally a collapse-on-the-comfy-couch lazy night for us (this past Friday we both took the day off cuz of the MRI and cuz of ChiDope). But booked for Saturday, yeah. ---

I don’t plan much of anything in advance and most of my close friends are either single or committed to living in sin (according to Mom), so there’s nothing in the way of nuptials or social engagements to prevent me from showing up anywhere. ---

That weekend (23rd) is _The Lion King_ for **The Babes** , so we’d have to pass on that weekend. Most other ones seem okay, though. ---
