Similar to McCall’s pending transformation of its magazine into “Rosie” (after the talkshow host – see the “Letter from the Editor” at [http://www.mccalls.com](http://www.mccalls.com) for more details) the _Chicago Reader_ announced today it is planning to rename the weekly newspaper to “Cecil”. (See [http://www.chicagoreader.com/20010401/namechg.asp](http://www.chicagoreader.com/20010401/namechg.asp) for more details, although the server has been somewhat flaky this morning). IMHO this is a brilliant move on the _Reader’s_ part, to more closely link itself with its most celebrated columist.

Flaky server, indeed. You’ll have to try harder than that.
